Join in on “Weezy’s Competitive Edge Skating Skills” Free Camp for Military Kids
June 18 – August 1, 2012 – 2 times per week for 2 hours/day at the Wakota Arena, 141 6th Street South, South St. Paul, MN

This is a 6 week camp, but players can join in at any time.
Weezy’s Skating Class is an on–ice program focusing on skating specific skills. While most players are taught the final product of the skating stride, this program will start at the beginning. Skating skills need to be broken down into the individual dynamics and repeatedly practiced. If a player can learn
how the muscles should work, they will train their body to do it correctly. Over time this will improve their all around speed and skating ability. This one of a kind class combines a Power Skating and a Speed Class into one!
This camp is for levels: Squirts, U10, PeeWees, U12, Bantams, U14, HS Boys and HS Girls.
Program Concentration:
- Balance
- Glide Platform
- Edges

- Body Position

- Includes 1 hour off-ice training
This program will consist of
players always picking up a puck and shooting, or handling the pucks
with shooting during skating drills.
