The MN Wild has supported DTBL by hosting events including the Minnesota Wild’s tribute to Derek Boogaard Night on Sunday, November 27th, 2011 during which they and the Boogaard Family made a major donation to DTBL.
In February of 2012 the Minnesota Wild Foundation once again partnered with Defending The Blue Line for the Wild Camouflage Jersey Auction. On Sunday, February 26th each Minnesota Wild player wore a custom-designed camouflage jersey during the pre-game warm-ups. Proceeds from the auction are being used to help military kids with their love of hockey. See the 2012 video…and see the photos from that night…
