Weezy’s Competitive Edge Summer Stickhandling & Shooting Class
June 19 – August 2, 2012 (join in at any time)- 2 times per week for 2 hours/day at the Wakota Arena, 141 6th Street South, South St. Paul, MN
This is a 6 week camp, but players can join in at any time.
Weezy’s Stickhandling & Shooting Class:
Not only do players want their shots to hit harder and faster, they
want to see a quick release with more accuracy. During the Stickhandling
& Shooting Class our professional instructors will teach proper
technique to improve overall form.
This camp is for levels: Squirts, U10, PeeWees, U12, Bantams, U14, HS Boys and HS Girls.
All shots will be followed with game
situation drills. This will help to apply each shot with enough
repetition for our instructors to make corrections.
The following shots will be covered:
- Wrist Shot
- Backhand Shot
- Snap Shot
- Slap Shot (1/2 Slap Shot for Mites/Squirts)
- One Timers
- Tips & Deflections
- Rebounds & In-Tight Shots
- Includes 1 hour off-ice training
Class Details

- Tuesdays & Thursdays
- 6 Week Program ~ choose 4, 5 or 6 weeks
- Train 2 times per week for 2 hours/day
- On-Ice ~ 1 hour
- Off-ice ~ 1 hour
