As a goalie, 12-year-old Brendan Moricas of Rhode Island can’t help but feel a sense of pride every time he steps on the ice to defend his net. His father, Michael, feels the same way about defending his country.
As a major on active duty in the U.S. Army, Michael Moricas enjoys his limited free time by playing with his son and running the Northeast region of Defending the Blue Line (DTBL), a non-profit organization whose mission is “ensuring that children of military members are afforded every opportunity to participate in the game of hockey.” Read the entire article here….
