Defending The Blue Line has been selected as one of the winners for the White House Joining Forces Community Challenge. Thank you to everyone who worked to get the word out, voted, and supported DTBL during the challenge.
Defending The Blue Line's Founder and President, Shane Hudella and his wife and volunteer for DTBL, Jessica Hudella, will be in Washington DC in April 2012 to represent Defending The Blue Line as a guest of First Lady Michele Obama and Dr. Jill Biden:

On behalf of The First Lady and Dr. Biden, we have the pleasure of announcing the Joining Forces Community Challenge Winners. The following five participants have been selected, based on input from Joining Forces Community Challenge judges Tom Brokaw, J.R Martinez, Sloan Gibson, Mayor Julian Castro and Deanie Dempsey, as the Joining Forces Community Challenge Winners:

• Defending the Blue Line
• Give an Hour
• Project Sanctuary
• City of Richfield, Utah

We would also like to congratulate Our Family For Families First for receiving a total of 16, 693 votes and becoming “ The People’s Choice Winner.”

Once again, congratulations to ALL of the JFCC finalists for your outstanding leadership, commitment and support to military families across the nation. You are ALL winners and we look forward to hosting every one of you next week.
