November 9, 2014 - Anaheim Ducks Military Appreciation Night. The ducks wore camo jerseys for warm up and auctioned them off at a later date. Read more about the event here.

2013/2014 hockey season - The Ducks donated tickets to their home games.

November 10, 2013 - The Anaheim Ducks held their military appreciation night against Vancouver. A pre game ceremony including Defending The Blue Line® military kids took place on the ice.  A very special soldier was also recognized.

The Ducks provided a suite to DTBL military families. Camo jerseys worn by the Ducks during warm up that night were auctioned off with proceeds to be split between Defending The Blue Line® and Veterans First.

July 7, 2013 - Military families were invited to ice skate at Anaheim ICE. After skating, the families joined the prospective Anaheim Ducks players for lunch. The players were there participating in a Conditioning Camp.  Check out all of the photos from this fun day.

December 2012 - Anaheim Ducks donated a military jersey to be auctioned off for DTBL. This is really awesome of the Ducks to do this for the military kids.

November 2012- The Anheim Ducks named Defending The Blue Line® as their Community Spotlight for the month of November. The Ducks have formed a great relationship with DTBL through the donation of charity tickets and have served as a beneficiary for their Military Appreciation Night. 

August 24, 2012 - Anaheim Ducks Coach Boudreau and his wife made a personal $10,000 contribution to DTBL during the trip to Miramar. Thanks Coach for a generous donation to help the military kids continue with their love of hockey. Thank you to the Marines and the Ducks for the great time at Miramar.

August 24, 2012 - Anaheim Ducks and DTBL at Miramar: A recognition event for Defending The Blue Line®, the National Hockey League Players Association, and the Anaheim Ducks was held the aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, California. You can read more about this event here...

2011/2012 hockey season - The Ducks donated suite tickets which was a great treat for our service members in that area.

2011 - Ducks owner Henry Samueli and the Samueli Foundation donated $10,000 to DTBL. This generous gift will go a long way toward furthering our mission in helping military kids in southern California play hockey.
