March 31, 2012 - The Philadelphia Honor put together a first class event at the end of March when they hosted the first ever Philly Honor 5K/Walk/Zumba to benefit Defending The Blue Line. While the weather didn’t exactly cooperate (39 degrees and rain), they still had over 300 people attend and raised over $8,000! Thanks to everyone for helping our cause in the Philly area, we can’t wait to come back for next years race!  See the details of the Philadelphia Honor 5K Run/1Mile Walk

The Philadelphia Honor is a women's hockey team based out of the Flyers Skate Zone in Northeast Philadelphia. In addition to providing women of all ages and abilities the opportunity to play the game we love, the Honor strives to do good for the community in which we are based by raising money for local charities and nonprofits. In addition, we are partnered with Defending the Blue Line, an organization that helps children of military families whose parents are deployed have the opportunity to play hockey.
