Carolina Hurricane Jamie McBain supports Defending The Blue Line.
On July 20, 2011 he participated in the Cottage Grove, MN Ice Arena Charity Hockey Game. Proceeds benefitted the Hastings Hockey Association, Cottage Grove Hockey Association and Defending The Blue Line.

In September of 2011, McBain spent a day at Fort Bragg North Carolina. He joined members of Defending The Blue Line who spent a couple of days on the base and hosted hockey clinics and charity games for the kids. See the video.

McBain attended the NHL Players Charity Game to benefit DTBL on June 20, 2012. It was a great day and evening of autographs and a hockey game between Team East/Air Force/Fox9 vs Team West/Army/KARE11.
