Defending The Blue Line® is helping children of armed service members stick with hockey programs.
Seth Appert, head men’s hockey coach at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, will be running in the Adirondack Marathon in memory of Richard Curadi. Donate $26.20 or more and receive a commemorative coin.
The military has a long-standing tradition of carrying coins that symbolize unit identity and brotherhood. Defending The Blue Line® now has it's own Challenge Coin which will be awarded to those who distinguish themselves in support of DTBL. The coins are numbered and will be tracked via our website.
A group of 6 local soldiers teamed up to race in the Great River Ragnar to support DTBL. They ran from Winona to Minneapolis. As they went through Cochrane, WI they ran through Orlin Brommer's Memorial of Flags. See the photos!
Defending The Base Line is DTBL's new program to bring baseball and softball benefits to military kids. Watch for upcoming events. Apply for equipment, grants, and MLB game tickets to the Minnesota Twins and the Washington National.

Hal Tearse is a long-time coach and excellent writer about coaching and safety issues in hockey. He recently compiled several of his works into a book and is donating all of the proceeds to DTBL so that youngsters whose parents are serving our country will get a chance to play the great game of hockey

This season Pro Ambitions Hockey has partnered with DTBL to offer Military Children who qualify, 20% off on any of their camps. You can see their camps here.
Robby Glanz Power Skating donates 1 free slot per hockey camp to DTBL military kids each season. Slots for these camps are located throughout the nation.
Cathy Andrade of Cathy's Power Hour provides free slots for DTBL military kids for her camps.
CGS hockey school covers proper stance, glove positioning, goalie-specific skating, lateral movements, save techniques and establishing good work habits. Goalies will feel confident they have built foundation for continued success.
The NHLPA Goals and Dreams Foundation has donated over $300,000 in equipment and financial support to DTBL. With their help DTBL has been able to outfit well over 500 military kids with top of the line gear.View all Partners & Donors
