About
Our mission at Defending The Blue Line (DTBL) is ensuring that children of military members are afforded every opportunity to participate in the game of hockey. We accomplish this by providing free equipment for military kids, hockey camps, special events, and financial assistance for registration fees and other costs associated with hockey. In addition, we provide uniques experiences for the families such as attending an NHL game.
Currently, Defending The Blue Line has service members and other volunteers helping to run our program in NY, PA, CA, DC, NC, FL, OH, DC, and MN. They plan fundraisers for donations which are used to buy hockey equipment and provide grants for association dues for the children of military parents. Our staff plan events and find sponsors to host these events. They locate hockey camps for military children of all ages. They locate corporate partners, hockey players, and pro teams to endorse DTBL. We have an outstanding team of volunteers working hard every day.
Defending The Blue Line is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization DTBL Tax ID# 27-0711063.
